We used this book in a college e-Commerce class. All things considered its a pretty good book but their is way too much information to absorb in only two classes a week. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone that wants to teach themselves with a few caveats....It teaches a few no-no's like using php to put the date and time on the screen and then using meta tags to refresh the screen.It should delve just a little deeper into manipulating the DOMIt dedicates too much time to date/time formatting.It doesn't introduce jQuery or Google Analytics but it should.
It got the job done, but I really disliked this book honestly. Things were not always clearly layed out in my opinion or where I would expect them to be.
