Many times before I even got to the table of contents did the publishers try to distance themselves from the content of the book and try to discredit the author. Let's be real. If you bought this book, you already know what you wanted to read. The disclaimer and the publishers preface has a very cringey toothpaste and orange juice feel to it, even going as far as to quote wikipedia. Your best bet is to avoid any pages with roman numerals in the beginning. They contain sneaky backhanded passive agressive insults towards the original author. That being said, the meat and potatoes of this book will be a permanent fixture in my small library of books in a time where history books are being altered and erased. I took a star off because of the beginning. Aside from that, the content was exactly what I wanted to read.
Top-notch information! The first chapter "Zetetic and Theoretic Defined and Compared" is a great eye-opener. Just those 5-pages will give you the desire to learn the truth. The book is "a little" technical; but the images and the examples are well presented and you do not have to be a techie to grasp what he is saying. Actually, for the level of science presented, it's really an easy read for a lay-person. You may not become a "flat-earther" (or maybe you will, lol); but this book will give you "pause" and realize the other side of the argument is not crazy at all. What we are told in modern times is what is "crazy." Take the plunge! You won't be wasting your time if you are seriously searching for answers and truth; to make up your own mind. p.s. Some have complained that their copy was not very legible. I have the Forgotten Books reprint. I suggest you order that one if you want to make sure you have a good reprint (Sorry to the other guys!!!).

The guy was clearly a good writer but an awful scientist. One of my favorite points that he makes is how the Earth must be flat or else we would see the curvature. I mean, Eratosthenes calculated the circumference of the Earth 2000 years before this was written, but the dude didn't think "Hm, maybe it's just a really big sphere."Thinking is hard. Buy this book if you wanna know how NOT to do it. (I was just using it as a reference in a report as a great example how NOT to do science).

This work is very important to understand, I believe in a biblical earth the way my creator designed it to be, apart from all the refuting of pseudo science in this book, the most important part to grasp is the bible has been saying where we live, and science has really come up with some abstract stuff to keep us from looking up and observing that just beyond that veil (firmament) is a whole different thing, than millions upon millions of miles of empty space, and we are traveling 63,000 MPH through this vast openness, not to mention traveling on an elliptical course around a star 95 million miles away, and that gravity keeps us on that course. Read this book and go be a zeteticist and observe for yourself where you live and just what is the story with these lights helping us chart our days and months. They built temples and ziggaruts in the ancient world that are still aligned to the stars the same ones we see at night. I could go on, but search it out for yourself, this book is a great starting point
