Being only a few pages in, I knew I should have gotten the physical copy! I want to share this book with SO many people that I love and that I know will benefit from this book. Mike Dooley is one of my favorite authors and I’ve read a majority of his books. With that in mind, I wasn’t sure what else I had to learn. I know the premise of most of his work: thoughts become things (choose the good ones), when you dream of something, take action and steps toward it. I bought the book with an open mind to learn more and also to support his work. And when I started reading, I knew I was wrong. This man has so many more things to teach me!I know I will be gifting this book to so many people in the future. Buy this book with an open, welcoming mind and enjoy the messages you discover inside.

If this books is anything like the notes from the universe that I’ve been receiving via email from Mike over the past 3-4 years, then it’s absolute gold in terms of inspiration. I just ordered it, I saw it didn’t have many reviews, so I started mine. I will edit once I get the book and plunge into it.
This is not my first Mike Dooley book, so I feel I can compare it to his earlier work. The into had me in joyful tears. This love letter to his daughter will hit anyone straight through the heart and make it burst with joy, love, compassion, fear, suffering, everything at once. It encompasses why we are here on this earth and you will relate whether a parent or not (at least I think so as a human). The book is small in size, but it's dense - it does not feel short or tiny in any way. In fact, it feels big. It has huge life lessons, examples, and then a more breathing room area of quotes. I found I didn't want to digest the book at once. Instead, I've been going through sections and taking my time and really embracing the lessons. I'm evaluating, how do I pass these lessons on to my kids, how much has to be learned through life experience, and what do I still need to learn. And the truth is, a lot. We all have a lot to learn and to continue to learn. As I get older, I can read this book with a lot of hindsight and my evaluation is so different than when I first picked up a Mike Dooley years ago. But I can also tell he is different. Being a father has changed him and deepened his lessons, so it's nice that he has the ability to share that with all of us in a way we can take the baton and use it in our own lives.Is there new stuff that is not in his other books or daily emails? Yes. And the presentation is slightly different.Overall, I can say that this little book has a big impact. It's thought provoking and quite beautiful.
I love this book by Mike Dooley. I've been getting his Letters from the Universe in my email for the last few years and was really curious about this book. There are several lovely essays he's written to his daughter, which are definitely worth reading even if you don't have a child.
